Speech from the throne reiterates Premier's commitments on climate action
The BC government's 2008 Throne Speech on February 12 reiterated the bold commitments on climate action made by Premier Campbell a year ago.
The throne speech also re-confirmed support for protecting mountain caribou habitat.
Environmental groups are looking forward to concrete actions on climate in the upcoming legislative session, starting with BC Budget 2008 to be released on February 19.
